Alpha Support

Updated: Sep 20

By Heather Nodello

In a world softening its emotional and mental stance, many people with Alpha personalities are feeling the pressure. Whether at home, work, school, or pleasure, old expectations are being replaced by newer, less recognizable ones. Gone are the days of direct communication, societal power, and personal accountability.

What does it mean to have alpha tendencies? Are only men facing the Alpha extinction? The answer is no. On a lighter scale it reflects an individual with personal power, the ability to communicate needs and orders directly, and a space where emotions may at times, take a backseat to productivity and success.

Feeling left out, overwhelmed and at times hated, many alpha personalities are struggling to find their place. For the first time, many are having to reflect on how their ‘way of life’ may conflict with the Collective society they live in.

Alpha Support is about recognizing Who You Are and finding a way to maintain this ‘sense of self’ while learning to account for others. It’s not about changing Who You Are but about working with others where they are in life.

Themes include:

-self respect and accountability- knowing what you need to keep yourself stable and how to properly display and communicate it to others (softening the ‘jerk’ energy others perceive)

-interpersonal relationships - balancing masculine and feminine relationships regardless of your gender (both men and women represent alpha energy). Overcoming divorce to create healthier relationships at home

-work communication balance- knowing what expectations are realistic and setting goals to communicate these to co-workers and employees to ensure ultimate success

-mind/body connection- allowing your physical power to blend with mental strength and agility. For alphas, its important that their outer world reflect their inner state of power

-emotion/spiritual growth- creating new space to increase these abilities in Self to increase personal satisfaction and professional success. Both are equally important to an alpha

-understanding the Collective Consciousness- alphas make up about 8% of the population making them a small cohort in society. Although small in numbers, their power accounts for 60% of the movement in a society. When we understand others, it is easier to achieve personal and professional goals within our society
